For the second year in a row, Hacienda Tres Rios was fortunate enough to receive the Best Family Resort in Mexico & Central America Award by the World Travel Awards (WTA) in Riviera Maya. The WTV has given Hacienda Tres Rios nine awards in the past eight years.

Fortune Magazine listed Interval Leisure Group (ILG) as one of its “100 Fastest-Growing Public Companies”. ILG is a vacation ownership company which holds licenses to such recognized brands as Westin, Sheraton, and Hyatt, and this was the first time the company appeared on Fortune’s list.

Hurricane Irma tore its way through the Caribbean and Florida earlier this month, making it the second substantial hurricane to hit the U.S. this season following Hurricane Harvey. The storm wreaked havoc on popular travel destinations, resulting in massive evacuations and severe damages to infrastructure. A favorite event of the Disney theme parks, Disney After Hours, will be returning to the Magic Kingdom theme park in Orlando, Florida for a few select dates during the 2018 year. A limited number of tickets will be sold for this event.
