Diamond Resorts announced yesterday the completion of its acquisition of Intrawest Resort Club Group from Intrawest Resort Holdings, Inc for $85 million—an agreement that began back in November. ‘Tis the season for feeling grateful for what you have and sharing with the less fortunate. At least that’s what Diamond Resorts International^® believes. This holiday will mark the third year that Diamond Resorts has partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots foundation. The goal of the foundation—according to their website—is to “deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.” [Read more…]

Diamond Resorts International^® has announced that they will reopen the Cabo Azul Resort & Spa on September 1, 2015. The resort has been closed for 11 months following Hurricane Odile in September 2014.

Although the resort was damaged during the hurricane, the property has been renovated and is back in pristine condition. All buildings and the surrounding grounds were repaired while the property was closed. [Read more…]

Diamond Resorts International^® celebrated the 45th annual Earth Day on April 22nd, 2015.

The organization observed the holiday by planting a new tree at each of its resort destinations. This is the third consecutive year that Diamond has organized this “beautification” event around the globe.

Employees were encouraged to invite Diamond timeshare owners, members, and resort guests to the Earth Day celebration, allowing guests to participate in the planting process. That way, members could return to the resort to proudly visit the tree they helped plant year after year. [Read more…]
