New Magic Kingdom Resort to be Named “Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Lodge”

Revealed by Bob Chapek at Destination D, the new Magic Kingdom area resort is officially named “Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Lodge.” This nature-inspired resort is set to open in the year 2022.

Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Lodge will feature over 900 hotel room as well as Disney Vacation Club villas for owners to enjoy. It is going to be built on the site of the former River Country water park, right on the shores of Bay Lake and next to Fort Wilderness.

A New Disney Resort With Nature-Inspired Themes Announced for Bay Lake

In 2022, a new Disney Resort is set to open on Bay Lake between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The newest Disney Vacation Club resort, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, has gotten top recognition at the recent ARDY Award at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) presented the prestigious ACE Project of Excellence Award, recognizing Copper Creek Villas & Cabins as the “best of the best.” This award goes to resorts showing the highest level of excellence in the industry.
