The Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto was recently recognized by Wine Spectator with an Award of Excellence for their restaurant’s wine list. Danzante Fine Dining, a steakhouse at the Villa del Palmar, earned the distinction on behalf of the resort. The resort and restaurant is featured in Wine Spectator’s 2016 Restaurant Wine List Awards. Palace Resorts established its nonprofit organization, Palace Foundation, in 2004 based in Cancun, Mexico. In 2015 alone, the organization has awarded 75 scholarships, fulfilled more than 125 dreams for terminally ill children, assisted with the protection of 2,221 turtle nests, and has provided healthcare to 3,700 people through different types of therapies and 1,611 locals with medical care.
