IHG brand Holiday Inn the official hotel provider to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the company’s timeshare brand, Holiday Inn Club Vacations and its Orange Lake Resort timeshare are also playing a special role.
Orange Lake Resort timeshare, a Holiday Inn Club Vacations resort in Orlando, Florida, was well represented in the Olympic torch relay by Shirley Bolin, a 28-year employee of Orange Lake and Cathy Duncan, a 15-year employee of the company. Both Bolin and Duncan ran segments of the torch relay; Bolin on June 1 in Astwood Bank, Redditch England and Duncan on June 2, in Rugby, Warwickshire, England.
Not only is Holiday Inn the Official Hotel Services Provider to the London 2012 Olympics and Paralymic Games, and a supporting partner for the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay, but the company is providing management services for the Athletes Villas, which is the first time a hotel has been appointed to this role.
