This holiday season, two leaders in the timeshare industry have used their partnership to give back to their local communities.

VacationOwnership.com, LLC and Vacation Innovations have partnered this December to make the world a better place, and give presents to deserving children and families. Both organizations collected gifts for local charities to provide a little holiday cheer to children in need.

Vacation Innovations Donates to Baby DJ Program

In Orlando, Vacation Innovations collected gifts for local radio station XL106.7’s annual Baby DJ Program. This program helps local families by providing “Holiday Assistance” in the form of gift donations from various businesses and community members. Families with children age 14 and under sent letters and emails to the program to request inclusion in the event. In the next couple of days, these families will have the opportunity to visit the Toy Warehouse to select gifts for their children.

In order to provide assistance to these families, the Baby DJ program calls for help from the community. Local businesses and community members come together each year to collect gifts for Baby DJ, including Vacation Innovations. This year, Vacation Innovations collected over 85 presents for the local charity. This is the third year that the company has participated in the program.

VacationOwnership.com, LLC Donates to St. Charles’ Children’s Home

VacationOwnership.com, LLC collected donations to benefit the St. Charles’ Children’s Home in Rochester, NH. Throughout the month of December, employees from the VacationOwnership.com offices in Exeter, NH donated various gifts and toys.

St Charles’ Children’s Home is an intermediate group home. The house is home to 20 children, both boys and girls, ages 3–12. The children’s home temporarily places children through the State of New Hampshire’s Division of Children and Youth Services. During the holiday season, these children count on donations to receive gifts on Christmas.

Donating to local charities like St. Charles’ Children’s Home is an annual occurrence for VacationOwnership.com. This year, the organization generously provided over $200 in gifts and donations. All gifts were hand delivered to the children’s home, where they were gratefully received. The holiday season is the perfect time to give back to your community. Every donation helps, no matter how small. The Timeshare Authority would like to thank everyone who has donated or volunteered this holiday season.

Throughout November, the offices of VacationOwnership.com are encouraging employees to donate non-perishable food items to the company’s annual food drive. Non-perishable items such as vegetables will be collected in both their Orlando and New Hampshire offices.

Proceeds from the Orlando office will be donated the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Collected items from the New Hampshire office will be given to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Laconia, NH. Each location chose organizations in which they would be able to help local families.

To encourage some friendly competition, the two offices have each set a goal to reach 500 pounds of food. This goal of 1000 pounds is considerably higher than last year’s grand total of over 700 pounds. The Orlando and New Hampshire offices will work to see who will collect the most donations.

The luxury resort company, Blue Residences has announced plans to open a new vacation ownership resort in Aruba. The resort will open on March 1st, 2014 and will be located on the coastline of Aruba’s famous Eagle Beach.

Blue Residences will offer 3 luxury towers scheduled to open in sequence. The first tower, opening March 1st, features 42 units for sale: two 5-bedroom penthouses, four 3-bedroom penthouses, twelve 3-bedroom units, and twenty four 2-bedrooms. Representatives expect that the second tower will open in May 2014 and the third in January 2015.

The units will be outfitted in ultra – modern furnishings and luxury décor. All condos will feature multiple bedrooms, a dining room, living room, full kitchen and private terrace. Units on the ground floor will even feature private outdoor Jacuzzis. Most units will feature vaulted ceilings, unobstructed ocean views, and the latest technology.

President of Icon Hotel Marketing Herber Valkenberg says, “This is the first luxury resort to open on Eagle Beach in the past 20 years and we are excited about the prospect of promoting this to both loyal Aruba vacationers as well as those considering a second home or shared ownership on the popular island, […] Blue represents a unique whole ownership opportunity for the condo-oriented family, as it is one of the few beachfront properties left in Aruba and the only new property targeting the affluent traveler.”

Owners will also enjoy the use of a private beach, poolside butler and concierge services while staying at the resort. The resort amenities also include two infinity pools, a luxury spa, gym, lavish restaurant, bar, convenience store, and delicatessen. While staying at the resort, guests can also play at two nearby golf courses including one designed by Robert Trent Jones.

The resort is located less than five miles away from the capital of Aruba, Oranjestad. This unique village provides sophisticated shops & restaurants, while still embracing local culture. Throughout the year, parades, festivals, and music events allow visitors to experience a true taste of Aruba.

Currently a US Air Force Recruit, in training for the Missiles and Space Division, Justin has his sights set on a military career. After graduating from Lackland, Justin, who already holds his Apprentice Electrical License, will be going straight into Tech School for additional training.

We are all proud of Justin. Brandy describes him as a fun and caring young man who loves hiking and being outdoors as well as cards and games including canasta and backgammon.
