Bruce Carnohan of Dallas, Texas has been a Summer Bay Resorts timeshare owner longer than he’s been a US Citizen. Born in England, Bruce has worked during much of his professional career in the United States and Dallas, Texas has come to feel so much like home that just over a year ago, Bruce became a naturalized US Citizen. But Bruce has been vacationing at Summer Bay Resorts timeshare in Orlando, Florida for more than a decade. From Crains New York Business comes the news that Wyndham timeshare is expanding its New York City timeshare options with the acquisition of a new hotel.  Formerly known as the Alex Hotel, Wyndham Vacation Ownership has already rebranded this 200-plus room property as the Wyndham Midtown 45. Previously the hotel was in foreclosure, and then sold for a reported $115 million to an affiliate of the Wyndham Hotel Group in February. Reported, Wyndham Vacation Ownership will be purchasing the property in increments over a three-year period.

During its period of renovation, the newly named Wyndham Midtown 45 is continuing to operate as a hotel. After renovations are completed, the Wyndham timeshare owned property will provide extended-stay accommodations. Many of the rooms are suites that include kitchens and living areas; some also have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. Studio units are also available.

For Wyndham timeshare owners and guests, the Wyndham Midtown 45 is ideally located in Midtown Manhattan East. Situated between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, the property is within easy walking distance of attractions such as Grand Central Station, the United Nations headquarters, Fifth Avenue shopping, Madison Avenue, the Theater District, Times Square, SoHo, Tribeca, Wall Street, and the restaurants of Park Avenue.

The building and interior were designed by residential architect Costas Kondylis. Bespoke furniture designer, David Rockwell, designed custom furnishings for the property. This week, The Hon. Ken Smith MLA, Member for Bass and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly along with other key Tourism and Local Government representatives officially announced the opening of a new Australia timeshare, the Ramada Resort Phillip Island.

The Australia timeshare is a mixed use property that was developed by the partnership efforts of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific (Wyndham timeshare) and Wyndham Hotel Group. Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific is the largest vacation ownership company in the Asia Pacific region.

Located at 2128 Phillip Island Road, Cowes, Victoria, the Australian timeshare resort and hotel property includes 211 self-contained cottages, found across 65-acres of beautiful countryside. The property includes refurbished cottages, a restaurant and bar, conference and wedding areas, swimming pool, children’s playground, tennis court, walking  trails, and barbeque areas.
