This week, a group of employees from Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific accepted the challenge to shave or color their hair for Wyndham’s Greatest Shave. The act was not a fashion statement, but a charity event to support the Leukaemia Foundation.

In anticipation for the main event, for the past few months Wyndham has been collecting money through their philanthropy, Wishes by Wyndham. In total, they raised $7,500 for the cause. Since its establishment in 2012, Wishes by Wyndham has raised more than $140,000 for charity. [Read more…]

Wyndham Vacation Ownership has announced the launch of their newest vacation club, Club Wyndham Asia.

Club Wyndham Asia will be the first vacation club in Asia and will feature a mixed-use flagship property in Phuket, Thailand. This will be the newest edition to the Wyndham Vacation Ownership portfolio which currently features more than 190 timeshare resorts around the world.

The flagship property is currently operating as the Sea Pearl Villas Resort, but will undergo a rebranding and reopen as the Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort—Phuket on June 1, 2015. [Read more…]

For the third consecutive year, Wyndham Canoa Ranch Resort welcomes a new baby owl! The resort found a nest of Great Horned Owls on the top of their roof, located between two roof pitches.

To allow employees and guests to view the owls, Wyndham has provided a webcam to observe a live feed of the baby and its’ mother. Although the nest is in a tight spot, Wyndham made sure that everyone would be able to see the owls. [Read more…]

Recently, the Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific Denarau Island celebrated its 15th Anniversary.

Originally a Trendwest resort, Denarau Island was the first property introduced in the Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific line. The property was purchased in 1998 from Trendwest and reopened in March 2000. [Read more…]
