Global Connections, Inc. Appointed Director of Inventory Management

Travel club fulfillment and service providers of Global Discovery Vacations, Global Connections, Inc., has just announced that they have appointed Corina Violette, RRP as the Directory of Inventory Management.

Corina Violette has been involved in the vacation industry for over a decade, bringing a wealth of industry-wide experience to Global Connections, Inc. Violette also currently serves in a number of volunteer leadership roles with various hospitality trade organizations. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of C.A.R.E. (Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers) and has completed the elite ARDA (American Resort Development Association) LEAPS program.

Violette commented on her new role:

“I’m thrilled to become a part of GCI. Two decades ago, the company created a model for short term membership products which are now embraced by both the general public and hospitality companies alike. My initial focus is to increase inventory options in requested vacation areas by our members.”

Corina Violette will be located in Asheville, North Carolina working for Global Connections, Inc. She will also be overseeing the Property Management division and the GCI Myrtle Beach office.

Wyndham Destinations Commits to ECPAT Code to End Human Trafficking

Wyndham Destinations has become the first timeshare company to sign the Tourism Child-Protection Code of Conduct with ECPAT-USA to end human trafficking. This agreement solidifies the commitment that Wyndham Destinations had previously made at its 225 managed vacation club resorts in North America, the Caribbean, and Asia Pacific to fight human trafficking.
